Quroscuro Retouching Actions
We are proud to announce the launch of our new product: Quroscuro Retouching Actions (QRA). My team and I put a great deal of time and effort into these Photoshop actions. They are designed to help the retouching process and workflow, this makes editing images a lot smoother and faster. By clicking on the desired action on QRA, it will quickly perform all the steps required to set up the process you wish to do; therefore speeding up the tedious and repetitive parts of your editing routine. These actions will save you hours of work in the short and long term, as well as aiding you to achieve accurate, repeatable, top-quality results and increase the observable value of the finished product. Simple to install, no scripts and compatible with Photoshop CS2 and up. These actions are also customizable to your particular editing needs. You have the ability to change the opacity of layers, choose the right ratio of sharpening and/or frequency separation. You're in control.

Here are a few actions I'd like to highlight:
Frequency Separation
A process of decomposing of the image data into spatial frequencies, this allows us to edit image details in the different frequencies independently. There can be any number of frequencies in each image, and each frequency will contain certain information. Typically, we break down the information data in our images into high and low frequencies. Grouping the colors and tones of the image into the low frequency and all the detail and textures of the image into the high frequency. This will help when editing the skin on portraits, removing blemishes without fear of harming your ideal tone of the skin, or correcting a shadow or highlight with out losing detail in the skin.
Dodge & burn
Dodging and burning are terms that come from analog photography. It is a technique used during the printing process to manipulate the exposure of a selected area(s) on a photographic print, deviating from the rest of the image's exposure. Dodging – lightening, Burning - darkening. With the brush tool, simply paint in white on the black layer masks to apply your dodge or burn. We have also added a Dodge and Burn Soft Light Layer action as well, including a separate action for both dodge and burn just in case you need one and not both.
Helper
Coupled adjustment layers turn the photo temporarily black and white. This will help you see the transitions of the highlights to shadows, showing if your blending and/or dodge and burns are smooth and consistent. When you are finished with this tool, you can delete or mark it invisible in the "Layers" window.
skin tone retouch
A powerful action that sets up the ability to correct the skin tones of photographed people. Sometimes lighting can change the color of skin in the shadows, making it muddy and unpleasant. By painting over the area on a nondestructive layer, it will help bring back the natural tones as they should be. The great thing is that it works on all types and shades of skin!
over saturation
This tool shows you what parts of the photo that might have too much saturation in it. When clicking "play," your picture will look a lot different from the original image. Some areas will be in color and others may seem more muted. The brighter colors indicate that the action sees too much saturation in those areas. You can bring down those high saturation points by painting on the black layer mask, letting you take full control of what you want toned down and what you want to keep.
These are just some of the actions that QRA has to offer and I am so excited to finally get to share these with you. CRA is guaranteed to help speed up your Beauty, Fashion & Portrait retouching workflow and declutter your workspace and layers. Achieve accurate, repeatable retouching results and increase the quality of your finished product. For a limited time, QRA is on sale to celebrate its launch!
